Shawnee Mission East vs Rockhurst

Shawnee Mission East vs Rockhurst is the biggest basketball game of the year in the KC Metro area. its a rivalry that stems from two of the largest schools in the area one public and in Kansas one a private all boys school from Missouri and both schools have students from the same neighborhoods and students that grew up together. The State Line Showdown is the first game marked on everyones calendars at the start of the school year. Both gyms being filled at SME and Rockhurst cause administration for the first time ever to move the game into Downtown Municipal Auditorium where they could fit 11,000 people for the game and allow all students to attend the game.

Started off with me getting out of school 30 minutes early driving a freshman staffer to Municipal Auditorium downtown and setting up a failed remote camera on the backboard and then a FTP server for live photo transfer from my camera to my staffs social media editor.
